There would be a main access portal somewhere (for example in capital cities on each planet), and when you interact with it you could travel to your own asteroid (or friends asteroid, given that he gave you permission to visit). Your asteroid could be your housing zone, where you could build own castle, farm, lake, whatever. Could work like flying housing zones in WildStar MMO. Would you enjoy something like that? (In addition to having guild housing, that Fractured already has) … [Read more...] about Personal asteroids as a form of housing
Play Path of Exile for freeHow does an ExileCon sound to you? Grinding Gear Games wants to know if you’d be interested in traveling down New Zealand next year to partake in all the dev and demo trappings of a convention specifically for Path of Exile. Understanding that travel costs to its home city Auckland in November 2019 would be expensive, the studio wants to gauge interest in the event before committing to run it. Besides announcements, including the big 4.0.0 mega-expansion, players would get to hang out and talk to devs, play demos, buy merchandise, party, and revel in swag. On top of that, there would be finals to various tournaments. GGG also wants to run competitions that will grant winners free flights and accommodations to the event. If this sounds like something you’d consider, head on over to the official forums to fill out a quick form to let the team know! KurtzPel released a few videos this week showing off some of the game's PvE features by showing off 2 of the game's bosses. While KurtzPel is primarily a PvP driven MMORPG, it will feature some PvE elements which will take place in instanced dungeon arenas. These co-op encounters will be available to 2 players at once through the game's co-op mission mode. We really haven't seen too many PvP heavy MMORPGs coming out of South Korea lately, so this one should be worth keeping an eye on. KurtzPel is being developed by Kog Games, the studio best known for Elsword and Grandchase. The game also has no Western release date just yet. In fact, there's no South Korean release date either. My guess is that Kurtpel will launch sometime in 2019 in its home market and make its way to the West by the end of that year. Blizzard is doing nothing to stem your rampant altoholic nature these days, but instead the studio is downright encouraging it. With all of the new allied races currently in World of Warcraft and coming with Battle for Azeroth this summer, the pressure is on to roll up a few new alts. But what if you’ve already maxed out your server’s 16 character slots? The good news is that the studio is increasing the capacity with the expansion to give you two additional slots: “In Battle For Azeroth, the per-realm character limit will be going up from 16 to 18 to make room for the two new Allied Races (Dark Iron Dwarves and Mag’har Orcs).” And those new characters are going to need a fun way to get from Point A to Point B, naturally! They’ll certainly have a wide selection from which to choose, as Battle for Azeroth is adding around 60 new mounts to chase. Get a preview of all of these in the video after the break!
