PROFESSIONS Introduction Below is my matrix how professions could be implemented in Fractured. I divided professions to three main category without actually knowing how this is planned to implement. Gathering Refining / Processing Crafting If DS has planned to include refining/processing to gathering and/or crafting that is of course one way to do this. Now please consider this as my vision, which bases on my experience how professions have been implemented successfully in other games and how I wish to see things to be done to cater all players interested of different life skills. I don't say this is how professions should be done, this is more like how things could be done. I just hope this post gives devs some ideas what they can consider to use in development. As you have probably read in the thread about the third alpha wave, a few people declined the invitation to the pre-alpha. In order to make it easier for us to select participants in the future, I would like to make a list of all members who do NOT want to join the pre-alpha. Hi everyone! We've just completed the first generation of Myr, the continent Syndesia featured in Alpha 1 - Test 1! That's just the first iteration, and it's missing some key elements such as coast biomes, Heartwood and the Vale, but it's a major milestone nonetheless! To celebrate, let's have a trivia game about Myr. Post your guesses to the following questions: The total amount of resource nodes in the continent. They include trees, plants, rocks, stone deposits, mineral deposits, and so on. Prize: 1,000 foundation points. The total amount of decorative elements in the continent. They include patches of grass, decorative bushes and trees, decorative stones, and similar. Prize: 1,000 foundation points. The total amount of monsters spawners in the continent. Hey all , like the title states, we need more ways to get new players involved. I also think that we need some more gameplay footage to really get more people to look at the game. As of right now, there is hardly any footage.
