Fortnite a few weeks ago in a recent developer update. The 2-minute video also talks about weapon-swapping issues, swap animation, and other quality of life improvements such as the Builder Pro controller scheme. In other Fortnite news, Fortnite Tracker has leaked what they believe to be the upcoming Week 10 Challenges. Like previous weeks, challenges unlock every Thursday of the week. Overwatch devs stunned their community with the late night announcement that it had opened up the first season of Competitive 6v6 Elimination that will run from now through May 8th. All previous Elimination maps plus Ayutthaya are in place. The "Lockout" rule in in force so that when one team wins with a particular hero, it becomes unavailable for the team until the match is complete. Players can access Competitive Elimination via the Arcade. During Elimination, the goal is, of course, to take out the other team. Developers often try and create special little mini events for players to take part of in order to make their characters stronger, richer, more skilled, and of course, to keep the players engaged in their game. For Star Wars: The Old Republic, they were planning to do just this with a Double XP event that would entice all players who were around. But, things have apparently not gone to plan, and the team have been forced to delay the event, but not without giving some good news to players as well. You see, the team notes on their forum that there was a scheduling conflict that made it impossible for them to do the Double XP event. However, they aren’t canceling it outright, they’ll instead make it so that it launches on 12/12. What’s more, the team also notes that to honor those who were waiting for this to happen, they’ll be extending the event when it arrives until 1/1.
