Shot Online, the free to play golfing game from GamesCampus and Webzen, is launching on Steam on January 22, 2019. The game originally launched back in 2004, making it one of the earlier free to play games in the West. GamesCampus used to be an avid publisher of free to play games. During its peak back in 2011 the company used to service nearly a dozen free to play games including Asda Story, Asda 2, Legend of Edda, Scarlet Legacy, Drift City, and more. Today, GamesCampus.com only has a single title left, Shot Online and its been their longest running game. Time will tell if it finds success on Steam, but even if it doesn't, I suspect Shot Online will continue to survive as it has for the last 14+ years.
