Monday night after finishing a significant number of contracts and stronghold runs I opted to spend a little time on my Chonky Boi in Hard Mode normal contracts to start building out enough gear to make something functional. I’ve been spending a little time now that I have the Ranger in a good spot, working on the other javelins and Colossus seems to be the one I struggle the most with. What I expect is for it to be this unstoppable juggernaut… and what happens in practice is that I am constantly having to run away from the fight and find red chicklets on the ground to heal myself back up. In my hard mode travels however I came across one of the last “drops in any mode” Masterworks that I did not currently have… the Fist of Stral which is based on Cloudburst one of the two Autocannons that don’t require much in the way of spin up. Also in my travels I picked up my second Legendary in the form of Glorious Result a Heavy … [Read more...] about Chonky Boi

Apex Legends Reduces Damage To ‘Thicc Bois’ & Improves Long-Range Combat
Apex Legends isn’t really a good idea since you’ll probably end up getting hit a lot more than if you were to choose Legends with a smaller build. A previous balance patch had already reduced the hitboxes for the so-called “Thicc Bois” namely: Caustic, Gibraltar, and Pathfinder. While this worked to make Pathfinder less vulnerable, Caustic and Gibraltar still kept getting murdered out on the field which is why they both got a new Fortified Passive Perk when Patch 1.1.1 went live. The new Perk reduces damage taken by Caustic and Gibraltar by 10%. In addition, Caustic’s Gas Damage and Ultimate Throw Distance have also been increased along with Gibraltar’s Gun Shield health. Patch 1.1.1 also improves the game’s long-range combat and makes it easier to make a kill from long distances. Leg Shot damage reductions have been decreased and weapon sway reduced for the G7 Scout, Triple Take, and the Longbow DMR. The Longbow’s fire rate and magazine … [Read more...] about Apex Legends Reduces Damage To ‘Thicc Bois’ & Improves Long-Range Combat

[Read more...] about Traductions des Featured Spotlights
World of Warcraft’s newest cinematic shows a Horde deeply divided
With World of Warcraft players deeply divided on the build-up to Battle for Azeroth — especially in light of a recent war crime committed by a certain war chief — players were left wondering how the rest of the Horde was dealing with Sylvanas’ over-the-top actions. Part of that answer was delivered today with a new gorgeous CGI cinematic titled “Old Soldier.” Taking place in the hours before the Siege of Lordaeron that was seen in the Battle for Azeroth trailer, this cinematic focuses on Saurfang’s distress over the lack of honor in the Horde to the point where he feels like quitting entirely. “They will come for us now,” Saurfang bellows. “ALL OF THEM.” It also stars the surprise cult star of the expansion, a Troll Shaman that fans have labeled “Zappy Boi.” Our favorite comment? “He is no longer Zappy Boi. He is now Zappy Man.” Blizzard’s on fire with the reveals and info this week, so make sure … [Read more...] about World of Warcraft’s newest cinematic shows a Horde deeply divided
