EverQuesting: Could Daybreak’s new FPS be an EverQuest?
With the constant clamoring from fans for Daybreak (or someone) to create an honest-to-goodness next-gen sequel to the EverQuest franchise, you’d hope that it would actually happen someday. Obviously EverQuest Next itself didn’t pan out — not that everyone considered that title a sequel or even deserving of the EQ name. But it was impossible not to find a glimmer of hope at the news that Daybreak was hiring for positions involving a new game. And then even that tiny flame of hope was snuffed out. The upcoming unannounced title is apparently a first-person shooter, a multi-platform FPS. That doesn’t sound very compatible with the Norrath people want. The third Halloween-themed mission for World of Warships has begun and brings with it one of the most requested features: Submarines. The new mission is entitled “Terror of the Deep” and has players submerging into the deep and tasks them with a new dimension of tactical movement in depth. This spooky new operation will run until November 15, giving players two weeks to take on this new challenge and become skilled commanders of this latest addition to World of Warships. Warface Has Hit The 5 Million Player Mark On Consoles
My.com is proud to announce that since the launch of Warface for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this September, the popular free-to-play first person shooter has obtained 5 million registered console players. In light of this milestone, My.com announced the release of the Cold Peak update for PlayStation 4 and release for the Xbox One this November 27th.
