Play PUBGA major update has just hit the PC version of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds with Update 21, which brings with it the much-requested Training Mode, a new weapon and vehicle, an all-new reward system, as well as a whole slew of other quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes. Perhaps the largest feature of the update is the new Training Mode, in which players can try out all of the game’s weapons and vehicles in a safe, low-pressure environment. Somewhat strangely, each Training Mode session is still technically a multiplayer game, requiring at least 5 players to queue for it and maxing out at 20 players per session, with each session lasting 30 minutes. Seems a bit odd to not just make it accessible solo and sans time limit, but we’re sure it’ll be a welcome addition nevertheless. The update also adds a new weapon, the MK47 Mutant assault rifle, as well as a new, Sanhok-exclusive vehicle, the Tukshai (more popularly known as a tuk-tuk). What Ultima Online Gave us 21 Years Ago
The template for all online games grew out of the 1990s. Many people recall Everquest as the game which changed everything and it did, trust me. However, before you had EQ, you had UO. Ultima Online created the core ideas and concepts that have driven the MMO genre for 21 straight years. Ultima gave us an early look at what PvP on a large scale might be like, it allowed players to explore a world together for the first time. Ultima Online was a revolution, and it changed everything.Logging into the screen for the first time and creating a character was not easy back then. There were no preset templates. You had to hook in by phone modem which was, well, a risky attempt at best. Once you got started there was always the fear of crashing. As you entered the world you met NPCs and players. Sometimes unsure which was which. You found your niche whether it was crafting or combat. You learned spells and maybe even were lucky enough to ride a horse.PvP was something that had barely been … [Read more...] about What Ultima Online Gave us 21 Years Ago
Here Are All The Changes To Racial Passives In Elder Scrolls Online 2019
It’s exciting times for Elder Scrolls Online 2019. Not only are we getting brand new content soon especially with Elsweyr and Dragons, but racial passives are also getting a revamp. Developers ZOS has shared their plans for racial passive changes before they hit the PTS this week. One of the things they aim to fix are the lack of effective option in selecting your class and race combo. Additionally, many racial bonuses didn’t have universal applicability, and that takes a way from a unique gameplay element and one considers using a more OP race over another. With that in mind, below are all the race changes. The -> icon prior to text indicates the new changes. High Elf Race Increases Experience gain in Destruction Staff Skill Line by 15%, extra 1% Generic Experience gain → No changes Spellcharge: 9% Magicka Recovery → Spell Recharge: Restore 575 Magicka or Stamina, based on whichever is higher, after activating a Class Ability. This effect can occur once … [Read more...] about Here Are All The Changes To Racial Passives In Elder Scrolls Online 2019
