Hey Shouter, First of all, I missed you all and missed writing here for one complete month. From December 1st I stopped publishing anything on ShoutMeLoud, as I was busy with my wedding.  I got married on 7th December 14, and after that I travelled to the beautiful country of Bali and Singapore. It was a tough decision for me to stay completely away from work, but I decided to stick to it so that I can enjoy my wedding with full-heart and when I resume work there is no looking back. Moreover, after blogging for six years, I have put my blogging business on Auto-pilot, and staying away for a while didn’t  affect the business. ( I will be sharing some interesting facts about the blog running on auto-pilot for one month in the next post). The new year is here, and as is traditional Final Fantasy XIV’s producer and director Naoki Yoshida offers players a post of celebration and appreciation. He notes that this year marks eight years since he first took over the project, with numerous milestones having been reached despite this year being a non-expansion year for the game. He also reminds players that patch 4.5 launches on January 8th, along with Shadowbringers due later this year in the summer. And yes, there’s an ominous prophecy to go along with all of this. Meanwhile, players over in Japan can look forward to taking the game’s wedding system to the next level by having an actual FFXIV-themed wedding in cooperation with the Deuxzero venue. Square Enix has partnered with Bridal Hearts in Japan to offer a “Final Fantasy XIV-themed Wedding Service”, which reservations expected to open in the next few weeks. This allows people to enjoy elements from Final Fantasy XIV‘s “Eternal Bonding Ceremony” from in-game in real-life. This includes matching outfits, decor, and the overall presentation in an actual wedding ceremony. Both the wedding dress and tuxedo are modeled after the in-game versions, and a variety of in-game assets are used as background images and video to decorate the event, bringing the Eternal Bonding Ceremony to life. The Bride/Groom are also able to carry the job weapon of their choice (modeled after the in-game versions) during the proceedings. While in-game weddings have been available in Final Fantasy XIV for a long while, it's not something that the players themselves could have a similar wedding "in real life". That's all changed with the arrival of Bridal Hearts that was shown off by Square Enix on Valentine's Day. Reservations for the $31,500 FFXIV-themed extravaganza will open in the next several weeks according to game producer Naoki Yoshida. So what does one get for $31,500? QubeTown from Webzen released a new update that adds plenty of farming fun, missions, and wedding-themed content. A new in-game event comes with this update, the “Wedding Festival”, where the primary goal is to help out Bryde, a new event character. She’s struggling to organize her perfect wedding, so it’s up to you to help! Players will help make her special day the best possible, by acquiring a floral crown, a flower macaroon, and a wedding cake. The players will need to send their citizens out on expeditions to gather the necessary Bouquets for the required items. Once their citizens return from their expeditions, they will be able to use the bouquets to begin creating the special event items.
