ESO 2018: Elder Scrolls Online Summerset DLC Review and First Impressions (Day 1) The beautiful thing about The Elder Scrolls Online is that it’s all connected and it all makes sense. Anyone that’s been playing regularly over the last year will perhaps know that stories are a great sense of joy in ESO. That’s not changed I’m glad to say, and Summerset picks up right where the previous two story DLCs left off – with both Lord Vivec and Sotha Sil telling you that Summerset is in danger thanks to the Daedra. As far as the island goes, it’s gorgeous. The High Elves sure know how to impress. The play map isn’t as large as Morrowind’s Vvardenfell, but there’s loads of ground to cover and content to complete. The major cities all look incredible, and there’s a sense of wonderment whenever you approach one. No story spoilers in this post of course, so let’s talk about the things that we know were going to be big in the DLC. … [Read more...] about ESO 2018: Elder Scrolls Online Summerset DLC Review and First Impressions (Day 1)
ESO 2018: Elder Scrolls Online Summerset DLC Review and First Impressions (Day 2) If there was any doubt that Summerset’s story and as DLC would be underwhelming, drop it. With more hours under my belt, I can safely say that this is probably ESO’s best Chapter DLC since Morrowind. Is it better than Morrowind? I’ll have to say yes. Yes indeed. In the last post, we already covered some of the basics things that Summerset introduced by way of content. Abyssal Geysers are great organic landscape content that breathes life into the island, and the general side quests are of high quality. We also shared thoughts about the Psijic Order and its new skill line, which is awesome despite the tedious grind to rank it all the way up to 10. Today, let’s talk about the crème de la crème of the DLC – the main story. Both new players and veterans alike begin their main quest in Summerset with Razum Dar, everyone’s favorite Khajeet. The talking cat is now … [Read more...] about ESO 2018: Elder Scrolls Online Summerset DLC Review and First Impressions (Day 2)

The Elder Scrolls Online fans a quick introduction of one of the main NPCs that players will encounter when the Wolfhunter DLC rolls out. The first Wolfhunter “Meet The Character” dev blog describes the Ashlander Hanu as a “skilled hunter” and a “devoted daughter”. “Mistress Dratha - Magister of the House Telvanni I do not often host Ashlanders, but that is just the task I found myself doing today. A young woman by the name of Hanu arrived in Tel Mora, demanding to speak to me. Out of mere curiosity, I allowed her request. Hanu's question was quickly and simply asked; how could she enter Hircine's Hunting Grounds? I, of course, first suggested a life of hearty worship of the Daedric Prince, followed by a heroic death. She shook her head, obviously frustrated. Her wish was to enter the Daedric realm alive, and leave in just the same fashion. An intriguing request, but one I had difficulty understanding. Of all the realms in Oblivion, what did … [Read more...] about The Elder Scrolls Online: Meet The Devoted Ashlander Huntress Hanu
