So far, all we know about Apex Legends’s upcoming Battle Pass is that it exists and will be introduced to the game when its first season begins in March, but dataminers have dug up some information that suggests it will come in both free and paid varieties. This is admittedly not a particularly groundbreaking discovery — PUBG, Fortnite, and even Rocket League use similar models, and at this point it’s pretty much become the genre standard to provide paid and unpaid battle pass tiers, with the paid tiers generally providing more plentiful and/or exclusive rewards. Fortnite is all about making the game fun and letting your creative side run free with their newest Limited Time Mode – Playground. The new game mode will be rolling out this week and will allow players to build to their hearts content without enemies destroying your works of art. “Battle and build to your heart's content with an extended period of time to roam around the map as well as increased resource generation. All treasure chests and ammo crates will be spawned, try droppin’ in different spots and scope out the loot. Fortnite Dev Update Details Development Plans Including More Limited Time Modes
Fortnite is dominating the Battle Royale arena and Epic Games is determined to keep it that way. According to a recent developer update, the studio is hard at work working on improving the game and introducing new content and more limited time game modes such as the Solo Showdown, the studio’s first attempt at a more competitive mode, and Playground which will give players more time and resources for building. Fortnite Limited Time Mode. The 5.10 content update for Epic’s popular battle royal has just gone live bringing with it the new Fly Explosives mode. “BOOM! The new Fly Explosives Limited Time Mode is here and it’s a blast for the whole squad. Use Jetpacks to fly above your foes and rain down in this explosives only game mode. [. . .] This mode combines the explosive fun of the High Explosives LTM and the vaulted Limited Time Item Jetpack. Take to the skies and blast everyone else back to the lobby!” The content drop also brings back the Guided Missile for more explosive fun. Fortnite Brings PvE To Battle Royale With This Year’s Fortnitemares Event
Fortnite? Epic Games is celebrating Halloween with the release of Update v6.20 featuring the Fortnitemares 2018 event. “Fortnitemares 2018 is here, featuring all manner of haunting happenings across Fortnite. Skulk in the shadows to scare your way to a Victory Royale or brave hair-raising husks to complete the weekly new missions. Darkness has risen.” During the event, players will face off against Cube Monsters and Cube Fiends while trying to out-survive each other in Battle Royale mode. Players will also have access to two new seasonal weapons, the Six Shooter and the Fiend Hunter Crossbow. Of course, Halloween is all about dressing up so why not take out your opponents in style with the new Deadfire Outfit. The spooky new outfit is a reactive cosmetic that changes style based on how much damage you’ve done to both players and AI, and how long you’ve stayed alive.
