Other than HP and damage scaling there are also weekly affixes attached to each keystone. These weekly affixes can affect the dungeon in different interesting ways. For example the Sanguine affix causes each mob to leave a pool of blood when he dies. The pool damages allies and heals mobs forcing the party to kite mobs away and avoid the pools. This mythic plus system was very successful in Legion and blizzard are adding and expanding upon that base system. One of the major changes coming to mythic plus are seasonal affixes.
