Hearthstone. Well, you’ll get to experience evil at its villainiest when the Rise of the Shadows expansion comes out on April 9th. The expansion features 135 new cards, new Arena rotations, and devious new mechanics. It’ll also kick off Hearthstone’s first ever year-long storyline. “After suffering defeat at the hands of the League of Explorers, Arch-Thief Rafaam realized that his designs on Azeroth would require more roguery than he alone could muster. In the years since, he has dwelled in the shadows, recruiting the greatest antagonists Hearthstone has ever seen to join the League of E.V.I.L.—a veritable supergroup of villains from previous Hearthstone sets, including King Togwaggle, Madame Lazul, the irrepressible Dr. Boom, and Hagatha the Witch. In Rise of Shadows, these ne’er-do-wells will once again act on their nefarious intentions, aided by Hearthstone players looking to get their hands dirty.” Rise of the Shadows introduces new card … [Read more...] about Villains Are Making A Comeback In Hearthstone With The Rise Of Shadows Expansion
Hearthstone whos the beatdown
I gotta know this. Who the heck are you people who buy stuff for MMOs you can’t play yet? Star Citizen, Ashes of Creation, ships, cosmetics, land, houses, whatever, doesn’t matter. Look, I get it: If you’re not hustling, you’re going hungry, so I get why studios ask. I’m not saying they aren’t entitled to sell promises. And I’m not saying you can’t buy what you want. I’m not saying you don’t have the right. What I am is curious about who you are and why you do it. Are you rich bored dudes and dudettes? Are you buying stuff so your ex can’t get your money? Do you get a tax writeoff? Do you have nothing better to buy? Are you just a getting out in front of other whales, like betting on which games will actually succeed? Do you want to … [Read more...] about The Daily Grind: Who the heck are you people who buy stuff for MMOs you can’t play yet?

Play Hearthstone for freeIn a game like Hearthstone, the job of balancing cards will never, ever be done. So if you like titles with stability and permanence, don’t play digital card games is what we’re saying. With this in mind, Blizzard revealed the next round of “balance changes” that will be coming in a future patch. The studio calls it balance, but the reality is that all of these changes are either nerfs to a card’s ability or an increase in the cost of the cards to better match the effect that it causes. Cards like Naga Sea Witch, Spiteful Summoner, Possessed Lackey, and Call to Arms are all going to cost more (a lot more in the case of the Witch), while Dark Pact is going to restore less health and The Caverns Below will create weaker minions. Adjust your builds and meta outlook accordingly. Source: HearthstoneSHARE THIS ARTICLE … [Read more...] about Hearthstone reveals the next round of nerfs that are on their way
