I have read ShoutMeLoud post on WordPress sites using Timthumb.php is Prone to Hacking couple of days back, and after 2-3 days “www.abc.com contains content from counter-wordpress.com, a site known to distribute malware. Your computer might catch a virus if you visit this site.” I also check my site at different browsers (Mozilla, IE & Opera) but this weird message was appearing only on Chrome browser. In the real world, I am not a cat person. Actually, I’m not a pet person. But in video games, I collect minipets, tame as many creature mounts as I can, and of course, play a creature handler as often as possible. Consequently, the Warden is my second favorite class to play in Elder Scrolls Online. I made a gif of Dro-m’Athra Senche mount that exploded on Twitter. And my favorite mini pet is my Senche-Panther. Ash is Awesome I have a really huge wishlist on steam, in part because it is a nice way of tracking all of those games that I see every now and then that interest me.  Steam will remind me through their UI when they go on sale, and sometimes this is extremely handy.  However occasionally it has unintended consequences, like for example…  during Pax Prime my friend Ashgar somehow acquired a copy of the sandbox building game Creativerse.  The other night he handed me a key for it, and over the last few days I have been playing a significant amount of it.  I remember looking at the game and thinking “Pretty Minecraft” and honestly…  after playing a lot of it that title still largely applies.  Minecraft is a charming game, but it is also a fairly primative game.  The magic of Minecraft comes from the fact that it has been so easy to extend and create new types of experiences out of.  So in the meantime there have been … [Read more...] about A Better Minecraft

Sitting back and loosely following the development of an early access game, then hopping in here and there to check out a score of updates in person, definitely seems to be the way to go. It is certainly a winning combination for Outpost Zero! With last month’s big engine upgrade to UE4.19 and a few months of updates and bug fixes, I felt it was time to pop back in to take a peek after my hiatus. And am I glad I did! I was very pleasantly surprised by how much better changes have made the game. In fact, I might have gotten a little addicted to playing from that single session; I don’t want to stop!
