Marketing as important part of early development Introduction I am not a marketing person myself and I have worked mostly in purchasing or financial in general. However, I have watched from aside when my colloques from marketing and sales do their job. Sometimes when I have paid those imo overpriced marketing bills, I have almost cried, because those prices can sometimes be quite insane. I have experience from startup companies as well and I am working in one right now, so I understand how for small indie-game studio it can be hard to make marketing right when funds are quite limited. Shift Up, the up and rising Korean games developer behind mobile RPG Destiny Child, revealed 2 new games for the global market earlier today in a media event titled “Crank in Showcase”. If you did not know, Shift Up’s founder and current CEO is Kim Hyung-tae, the former art director of Blade & Soul. The 2 new games are revealed to be Project EVE and NIKKE: The Goddess of Victory. The latest Bless Online producer's letter has been published on the game's Steam page. In it, players are informed about some of the contents coming in the July 4th update that include market improvements, the Basel Gorge area for level 45 players and the addition of "Royal Quests". Royal Quests are a "new daily quest series" that is for level 45 players. Quests will be available in a number of location and players can complete up to 15 of them per day to maximize rewards. These quests, according to the post, offer better rewards than regular quests. The team will be implementing a number of changes to the market based on player feedback. The changes will make its functionality better and they will be looking for more feedback once the new systems are implemented.
