When Bree found out that I’m a fan of the Matrix franchise of films, she said it’d be fun to see me take on the idea of a hypothetical sequel for The Matrix Online. She probably was not expecting my suggestion for the following for The Matrix Online 2: Don’t. Don’t do this. Do not make this game. I know it sounds like a good idea. I know that the original had its fans. It’s still a bad idea and it doesn’t really mesh well with the films. No matter how good an idea it might sound like, do not make this. However, we are getting a fourth Matrix film, and I’m not going to lie: I’m excited about that. Sure, the Wachowskis haven’t really had a film that got over in the public consciousness other than, well, The Matrix, but they’ve never produced something I haven’t found entertaining. Last night I dove head first into the Haunted Forest activity associated with the Festival of the Lost event.  There is absolutely no hyperbole intended… but this might literally be the best content they have created for Destiny 2.  The only unfortunate part is that it is associated with a limited time event, and it isn’t available for that much longer.  When they first talked about the Infinite Forest I pictured this mode where you go through a random series of changing and shifting segments until you face a boss at the end… that then gives you a chance at loot.  Basically I pictured it working a lot like the Court of Oryx or Archon’s Forge events in Destiny 1… and then was completely disappointed when it released and was ultimately nothing like that.  What we got felt super repetitive and didn’t have any real hook to make you want to keep roaming around in there. PROFESSIONS Introduction Below is my matrix how professions could be implemented in Fractured. I divided professions to three main category without actually knowing how this is planned to implement. Gathering Refining / Processing Crafting If DS has planned to include refining/processing to gathering and/or crafting that is of course one way to do this. Now please consider this as my vision, which bases on my experience how professions have been implemented successfully in other games and how I wish to see things to be done to cater all players interested of different life skills. For me, it’s knowledge, and it’s safeguarding yourself from potential intruders. Normally, hacking is social engineering, and if you are landed here to watch some awesome movies on Hacking, you must be aware of what social engineering is.
