The 1st Closed Beta for Tree of Savior Online was awesome, despite having crazy login issues during the first few days of testing. Oddly enough, a lot of players from the beta was bunny hopping all over the place. It's not an MMORPG if you can't jump, right? I hope they don't make any drastic changes to jump. I ended up playing throughout the whole beta non-stop. I'd definitely give the 2nd or international beta another try without a question. One the biggest complaints from all of my followers and viewers is that the bosses are very easy to kill. As for me, I would like to see more community or social features for the game, something along the lines of dungeons or raids. Embedding text in crafted items was nice. Here is a cookie shield baked with love! Anyhow, thanks for reading and following me on one of my many gaming adventures, I hope you'll come back for the next one! … [Read more...] about STEPARU News, Reviews, Previews & Information for Foreign Games Tree of Savior Online Closed Beta Review in Progress Part 3 Finale

After hitting the level 15 cap on my main job as a Shield Sage, I ended up leveling my Blood Oath Sphere Tree! Not sure if that's what BO really stands for, but there are certain monsters that will give players BO points for their BO Sphere Tree shown below. For example, with 75 BO points, I am able to unlock a 2ndary accessory slot for my character, letting me wear two accessories instead of one. BO is very important upon reaching the max level and the BO Sphere bonuses is quite rewarding! Farming points during the CBT was fairly easy and players can max out their BO Sphere within a day of grinding. Players can also job change into other classes at any point, as long as a job specific level 1 weapon is in the inventory. One of the main benefits of leveling other classes is borrowing passive related skills from them. My original Dragon's Dogma viewers often asked me what the skill system is like in this version. Honestly, nothing overly complicated because you can only take 4 active … [Read more...] about STEPARU News, Reviews, Previews & Information for Foreign Games Dragon’s Dogma Online Review of Closed Beta
But arguably one of the things you will spend the most time with is the game’s crafting and Life Skills. It’s easy to lose track of time and just spend hours dabbling with fishing, farming, trading, gathering and processing, which makes up a few of the Life Skills available to you. These crafting activities will be important for making gear and other equipment as you level your character. Energy and Contribution Points are another form of progression that requires players to take part in mini-games such as Knowledge gains and the Amity system to obtain. Energy will be spent through activities like gathering, while Contribution Points can be used to invest in material nodes, rent crafting houses, workshops, and other convenience amenities on the world map. … [Read more...] about Black Desert Online Review 2018: Is BDO Worth Playing?
The Difficulty Unlike LOTRO’s Mordor expansion released last year, Where Dragons Dwell is a lot more forgiving. As long as you have decent level 115 gear at the beginning, landscape monsters you encounter on your way to 120 should not be too hard to overcome. The Light of Earendil vs Shadow of Mordor mechanic is now gone too for these new zones, so that’s one headache less to deal with. As of time of writing however, LOTRO does have scaling issues with higher level mobs. Players are finding it harder to kill things the closer they are to 120, even with new gear and the developers have acknowledged this in a post we’ve pictured below. So do keep that in mind if you find yourself dying plenty when playing solo. Otherwise, most of the content is a breeze in groups of two or more, unlike the dungeons and instances. … [Read more...] about LOTRO Update 23 Review: What We Liked And Disliked About The Where Dragons Dwell Quest Pack
