With the turn of every new year, I know we are entering unexplored territory in the field of MMO news. No matter what we may predict, it’s inevitable that the bizarre left turns and out-of-nowhere stories will defy our prognostications. So it’s been a couple weeks since my last MMO news video. Christmas hit, New Years hit, and then.. well, there was a general lack of news in the genre. We’ll go ahead and start this off with some good news – news that I believe every fan of the genre needs to hear. In sadder news, Rose Online will be shutting down on February 11, 2019. WarpPortal, the publisher behind the game announced the closure via their official Facebook page. Next up we have a juicy new release from NCSoft. Actually, this is their very first mobile RPG released in the West thus far but from what I’ve learned.. mobile games, especially MMOs are all the same so it really isn’t likely to be much of a challenge. QC Games, the team behind the upcoming ARPG “Breach” have announced that the game is currently purchasable via Steam starting at $25 and finishing at $100.
