Every Steam sale is the best of times and the worst of times. The best of times for us and the worst of times for our wallets, and all the games we should be playing. What’s that? I have a brand new copy of Persona 5 I still haven’t touched? That’s cool and all but what can I buy now. Western studios soon started adopting the foreign business model and the fruit of that cultural exchange were some of the best games ever made, including League of Legends by Riot Games and Warframe by Digital Extremes. As the second decade of the century approaches its final lap, the Western gaming market is being overwhelmed by yet another East Asian contender. This … [Read more...] about The Weekly Raid: Is The Influx Of Chinese Money Good For The Gaming Industry?
Video games had a huge impact on my childhood and teenage years, imprinting themselves onto my psyche for all of the struggles and elation that they produced.
