Black Desert Online has earned over $1B in total revenue across all platforms (PC, Mobile, and Xbox One) since launch according to Pearl Abyss, the game's developer. While the game's mobile release has been a huge hit in South Korea, Japan, and elsewhere in Asia, it's not yet available in English. Fortunately, that's set to change this year. In preparation for a successful launch, the mobile version of Pangya is going to be kicking off a Closed Beta next week starting on December 14th and conclude on December 18th for the Android device. Players will be able to try out a variety of modes which includes Story adventure, Tournament mode, real-time 1v1 PvP, and more. Your game data will not be kept and is going to be deleted after the test ends, so try not to pour all your heart out on it~! The Facebook page doesn't mention anything about signing up anywhere, so everyone might be able to participate unless you're on iOS. Black Desert Mobile Media showcase had just ended and I'm here to shed some light on what's new what I know so far about Black Desert M! Starting with the juicy stuff. Pre-Registration has begun for the Korean version with both the CBT and official release planned early next year in January, followed by the Global version at a later date in 2018. Black Desert Mobile takes place in a recreated world as the original version where players can explore the following regions Balenos, Serendia, and Calpheon. Black Desert M is a whole new game and you can't transfer or cross-play your PC version with this one. The mobile version also offers the same action-packed gameplay, deep character customization, world bosses, life-skills, and sieges. – Mobile MMORPG gets new name with a focus on combat
Originally known as Aion Legions, NCsoft has finally confirmed a final name for this mobile MMORPG, Aion Tempest. As you would have guessed, this mobile game is based on the Aion IP, which can be deemed as a successful PC game during its heydays. Aion Tempest takes place 900 years before the story of the PC version, and will focus on the ancient battle between the Daevas and Balaurs, apparently also known as the Millennium War. NCsoft claims that there will be small Legion battles in Aion Tempest which will escalate to massive Legion wars, and that these series of battles is not generated by the system, but created by the players through cooperation (allies) and conflicts. – First screenshots for mobile and PC game revealed
Announced last month, Yakuza Online is a new game in the popular Yakuza series which runs on mobile phones and Windows PC. Only teased as a “dramatic conflict RPG”, the first screenshots for Yakuza Online were shown at the Yakuza booth over at Tokyo Game Show. As seen below, it is really just a simple turn-based card battle game, with an emphasis on the storyline. Toshihiro Nagoshi, the producer of the Yakuza series of games, mentioned that the name “Ichiban Kasuga” as he felt the word “Ichiban” would relate better with gamers and fans in other parts of Asia, North America, and Europe.
