If the reputation alone that precedes PUBG isn’t enough to establish a sold playerbase on Xbox One, then perhaps it could be aided by cross-play with PC. This isn’t something that will be supported at full launch, but there is interest there from Bluehole to do so. This would put Xbox players at a disadvantage to the mouse/keyboard combination that PC offers, so it would take some work on the developers’ part.
