Poor to rich story in hindi
This past week, I received this letter from reader Thurro: “Your recent LOTRO resurgence has my interest, and from the sounds of you on the podcast I might not be the only one. Would you consider writing a beginners guide or even just a list of tips for getting started from scratch?” Sure, why not? It’s still a little too early to tell, but we could be seeing a nice little LOTRO renaissance right now, and I bet that there are more than a few players who are checking the game out for the first time after reading the news and hearing recommendations from others. Considering that it’s a massive MMORPG with 10 years of content and expansions, I could see how it might be overwhelming during your first week. A true guide would probably take so much longer than the space I have this week, so let me present a quick and dirty starting guide to the this wonderful MMO and then point you to LOTRO Wiki for any further questions (seriously, it’s a great resource!). … [Read more...] about LOTRO Legendarium: A guide to starting fresh in Lord of the Rings Online
The old expression is that character is who you are in the dark. I think that’s true, but I also think character is who you are in EVE Online when you see someone in a dinky mining ship while you fly along in your decked-out warship. You could destroy that other person’s ship in a blink of an eye and face no consequences if you want to. So what happens to that mining ship? This isn’t just about other players, it’s about opposing players. If you have War Mode on in World of Warcraft and happen to be flitting through a low-level area, you can no doubt smash in the face of any players you stumble across. Do you do so? If you see someone struggling in a Notorious Monster fight in Final Fantasy XI when you can heal, do you cast a heal or wait until the player is dead to claim the monster for yourself? How kind are you not just to other players, but to opposing players in an MMO? Every morning, the Massively Overpowered writers team up with mascot Mo to ask MMORPG … [Read more...] about The Daily Grind: How kind are you to opposing players in an MMO?
I'm still trying to decide how I want to consume content in BFA. By that I mean whether or not I'll raid at all (beside Raid Finder) or if I'll just do Mythic+ dungeons. I'm going to avoid any sort of "progression" raiding. That is to say I'm going to avoid a group that meets 2-3x a week for 3+ hours a night to raid. The thought of pushing myself into a set schedule and having to play that drama game again doesn't appeal to me. But... I like the adventure. What I'm for sure going to do is look for a set group to run Mythic+ dungeons with and potentially see other content with as time goes on. Unlike past expansions, I'm not putting together a Keen and Graev Guild. We have a community (if you're alliance you can join clicking here) where I'm sure we'll put together pickup groups. I'm playing a Holy Paladin as my main, so hopefully that means I'll be absorbed fairly well into many groups. I'm at home as a healer in raids and groups. I was primary heals in most vanilla … [Read more...] about I Haven’t Decided How I’m Going to Consume Content in BFA
Overwatch is in the news today with a pair of interesting stories. In one, a South Korean hacker was sentenced to a year in prison and two years probation for a cheating program that "violates the country's Game Industry Promotion Law". In the other, Blizzard has received an approved patent for a Play of the Game system after originally filing for it in 2016. The South Korean player is the first to receive a prison sentence after the country enacted strict anti-cheating laws that came on the books late in 2017. The convicted man reportedly made $180,000 through sales of his cheating program. Prior to his sentencing, others charged with violating the new policies had been fined or given probation. A Play of the Game System is now officially patented in Blizzard's name after a 2-year wait. "The game server then selects a play of the game category and determines the top aggregated score for that category. Once determined, the game server sends one or more instructions to the game … [Read more...] about Korean Hacker Sentenced to a Year in Prison + Blizzard Patents Replay System
