MapleStory 2 is finally here, released globally after three years since its arrival in Korea. Nexon has pulled out all the stops to ensure a smooth launch for global gamers and now the game is live on both the Nexon launcher and Steam. What is MapleStory 2? It’s a free to play MMORPG – the second in the Maple series – and it features cute cartoony characters in a pretty large anime fantasy world. You pick one of 9 classes to adventure with, using the game’s ARPG style hack and slash combat that feels really good. Players earn levels and gain new skills, all while exploring the world’s many map zones, and following the main story to hit level 50 and begin the end-game progression. We’ve spent a lot of time in the head start and launch, so here’s what we think of it so far. There’s A Good Amount Of Content For a cute and cuddly anime MMORPG, it’s easy to mistake this for just another run of the mill MMO clone of many others out there. … [Read more...] about 5 Reasons Why You Should Play MapleStory 2: MapleStory 2 Review 2018
Review 2018 camry
Developed by Runewaker Entertainment, Runes of Magic is a classical, free-to-play MMORPG which could be accused of being a World of Warcraft clone. There are, however, a number of very interesting features which make it a viable alternative to Blizzard’s masterpiece whilst maintaining some originality. Your first steps of a player’s journey is to create a character and assign a race and class. Runes of Magic contains three races (Human, Dwarf and Elf) and has eight classes, each of which are suited to varying styles of game play. The Brunt of the Journey Like any good MMORPG, in order to gain XP and acquire new skills you must complete quests, which are given to players by NPC’s who are marked on the mini-map by a yellow exclamation mark. Quests are fairly standard fare and usually involve traveling to a location, collecting or killing a certain number of objects or hostile NPC’s before … [Read more...] about Runes of Magic Review 2018 – Is This Classic MMORPG Worth Playing?
Revelation Online is a free to play MMORPG that’s now available to play on Steam. What does it offer and is it any good? What Is It? Revelation Online blends classic fantasy MMORPG elements in a huge colorful online world. It has been around since late 2016, and only arrived on Steam for PC this summer. The game lets you choose between six classes, including the Blademaster, the Occultist, the Swordmage and the Gunslinger. Each feel somewhat unique in terms of an MMO archetype class, and you do see influences from other Asian MMOs like Black Desert and TERA. The Combat System Revelation Online uses an action-oriented fighting system that completely depends on how you react. While in many other MMOs you just click-around with your mouse and then watch what happens, you have to wait in this game for the right moment and click the right keys in order to beat the enemies. If you played TERA you will probably be familiar with the system. You aim with your mouse and you … [Read more...] about Revelation Online Steam Review 2018
Black Desert Online is a high fantasy, action combat MMORPG that blends theme park and sandbox elements into a huge game world, and it’s probably very well known for its graphics and aesthetics. When creating a brand new character you’ll to pick and choose from a wide variety of classes, all with unique play styles but do keep in mind that they will be gender locked. The good news is, the game does offer the gender equivalent of each class and as an example, the Male Ninja’s counterpart is the female Kunoichi. The Best Combat System Yet The game’s combat system is action based which requires you to manually face and target enemies with your reticule to engage in combat. Each of the classes has their own unique abilities and skills that need a combination of keys, or combos, to execute. There are plenty of in-game visual guides to help you through it which is great, as the learning curve can be quite high at the beginning. As you gain more … [Read more...] about Black Desert Online Review 2018: Is BDO Worth Playing?
