On the flip side, both of the trial fights required at least 4 wipes before my teams were able to get them down. Compared to the first time through, folks seem to be having a bit more trouble with mechanics and DPS checks. I was hoping at this point that we’d be getting people who were familiar with the fights, but both times, half or more of the team were new to the trial. I’m not sure how that bodes for the final battle, but I’m not going to worry about it too much at this point. … [Read more...] about FFXIV: Shadowbringers – Second Time Through MSQ
Second time around
Head: Presence of Might – This is the default old world head enchant, obtainable with some hassle at friendly with Zandalar. Shoulders: Heavy Knothide Armor Kit – one of the few enchants available that actually gives us any real benefit. The other option for elemental resistance fights is Chromatic Mantle of the Dawn from revered with Argent Dawn. Every time I try to play more than one MMO I end up feeling ‘off’ somehow. The hardest part is playing with people who don’t play both. Let’s say I have friends playing one, and family playing another… or online friends in one and online friends in the other. It’s hard for me to split that time well, and I end up feeling pulled in opposite directions. … [Read more...] about Can You Play More Than One MMORPG at a Time?
