· November 30, 2015 · Leave a Comment

If you play Heroes & Generals and your computer still operates on Windows XP, at least one of those two will no longer be the case in the coming months. The latest update to Heroes & Generals, dubbed the Zhukov Armored Ambush update, dropped today introducing new vehicles, new weapons, and various tweaks and anti-cheat updates. In addition, the folks at Reto Moto announced that this update will be the last to support Windows XP. This will be the last update supporting Windows XP. Valve announced the end of support back in June of this year, and as of tomorrow the client will no longer function for owners of either operating system. As far as the internet goes, Valve is one of the few remaining companies to have continued support for Windows XP through 2018 along with League of Legends. Blizzard ended support for DirectX9 and 32-bit operating systems in 2017, as did … [Read more...] about Reminder: Steam Will No Longer Function On Windows XP/Vista Tomorrow

Microsoft released Windows 8 last month and it was the first time I bought something on its launch day. I got my copy of Windows 8 as I bought the laptop on the same day. I believe that the migration from Windows 98 to XP and Windows XP to Vista was something exciting as the GUI was all different. Remember ‘Aero’?. But that was not the case with Windows 7. Why? Because Windows 7 is more or less Windows Vista itself. The only significant difference is … [Read more...] about Why Windows 8 Metro Is Awesome But Doesn’t Make Any Sense To Me
