Top 5 Games Under $5 To Grab During The Summer Steam Sale

· July 2, 2018 · Leave a Comment

Every Steam sale is the best of times and the worst of times. The best of times for us and the worst of times for our wallets, and all the games we should be playing. What’s that? I have a brand new copy of Persona 5 I still haven’t touched? That’s cool and all but what can I buy now. I don’t know about you but the first thing I do during a Steam sale (right after apologizing to my bank account) is to click on the under $5 list on Steam. Because if you’re spending less than $5 for a game..are you spending any money at all? I mean, are you really? Not just that but there is a special sense of satisfaction I get out of paying less than $5 for a game that could potentially entertainment me for hundreds of hours. Or 1. I mean it’s not like I’ve even played half of the Steam games I own. So in honor of thrifty consumerism, here are 5 games under $5 that you should pick up during this year’s Steam Summer Sale. There are technically more than 5 … [Read more...] about Top 5 Games Under $5 To Grab During The Summer Steam Sale

The Daily Grind: What are you looking forward to the most in WoW Classic?

· March 26, 2019 · Leave a Comment

After all the PR mishaps and layoffs Blizzard’s had since last fall’s BlizzCon, I wouldn’t have been too surprised to see the company delay WoW Classic. But that doesn’t appear to be in the cards: Recent bluename posts on the official forums seem to at least imply we’re still on track for summer. So I’ve been thinking more about it, whether I’ll play it, even whether we might hire more WoW specialists to cover it. Because there are definitely things I miss! I miss the simplicity of class makeups, of humble questing, of basic dungeoning. I miss my classic prot Warrior and my idiot self who leveled her to 60 as a tank back then. I really miss the classic battlegrounds the most, though. Of everything we lost along the way, the feel of those creaky old battlegrounds and the thousands of hours I spent in them… that’s a temptation. Are you still thinking about playing WoW Classic this summer, and if so, what are you looking forward to the … [Read more...] about The Daily Grind: What are you looking forward to the most in WoW Classic?

Hyperspace Beacon: The SWTOR Summer roadmap might get you back into PvP

· May 17, 2018 · Leave a Comment

Play SWTOR for freeStar Wars: The Old Republic producer Keith Kanneg just dropped the next roadmap earlier today, outlining the features upcoming before September and a little bit beyond. Although he didn’t give much detail about the future of the story for the game, he gave us enough hints that we can speculate about the direction it’s headed. At the very top of the roadmap post, Kanneg thanks everyone for such a great first year as producer of SWTOR and hopes that everyone enjoyed the traitor storyline. The story ends with a lot of questions unanswered, but unfortunately, those questions will not be answered until sometime after September according to the post. However, it’s possible that some of the setups this summer are pointing toward what the developers have planned. Kanneg said the devs have been listening to players and “as a result, [they will] be making a lot of changes based on your feedback, beginning with our PvP plans this summer.” … [Read more...] about Hyperspace Beacon: The SWTOR Summer roadmap might get you back into PvP
