One of the ways by which you can evaluate your blog growth is by the number of visitors you are getting (Use Google Analytics to keep track of your blog visits). But, just the visits are not enough to measure the growth, as the traffic has to be targeted. Therefore, to increase the targeted traffic to my blog, I have burned the midnight oil in past 48 days. There are various ways by which one can drive traffic to their blog, and I’m a firm believer of growth hacking. With growth hacking, one can use existing content and start getting more traffic to their blog. A new episode of Battle Bards is up! I know, I know, it seems I’ve missed a few Battle Bards updates here. Not to mention I’ve not had any other new content here for months. Our family welcomed a new baby at the end of January and things have been pretty busy since. Between taking care of a newborn plus my rambunctious three-year-old, along with my book reviews and other stuff I have to take care of around the place, I’ve been too busy to do much gaming and blogging about it, and so the posts here have kind of dried up. Fortnite: Battle Royale had a rough January. While year-over-year sales are “still up significantly,” according to SuperData, revenue across all platforms dropped 48% in the month as compared to the previous month. Maybe that’s to be expected after what SuperData called a “peak month in December,” but it’s still quite the plummet. Tougher times could be ahead. Apex Legends launched in early February, and that’s sure to take a further piece of Fortnite’s battle royale pie. Epic Games did draw 10 million people for a virtual concert in the month, and also announced a new high of seven million concurrent players, so maybe it’s not all bad.
