World of Warships, the enormously popular ship battling MMO from Wargaming, announced that ranked season 12 begins on May 30th. Aircraft Carriers will be playable in ranked this season and the current ranked map rotation includes North, Sea of Fortune, Tears of the Desert, Shards, Riposte, and the new Greece map. I had previously thought I wouldn’t mind dailies making a return and when I was on the PTR, I wasn’t at all bothered by them. However, now that they are live I kind of resent them. The days where I log onto WoW every single day have long since passed. I have more real-life commitments now, and honestly, I play a few different MMOs because no MMO offers everything I want out of an MMO these days, and I’m completely fine with that. However, I want to fly asap, which means I need to get my rep up quickly. Missing any day of dailies feels terrible, and I just resent it. I’m not only behind on AP gains, but also, I’m barely into revered with both the Ankoan and Rustbolt Resistance. When I do log on outside of raid, I only really have time to do one of them rather than both, and most of the time it’s the Ankoans because sometimes there’s an emissary for them and I just like Nazjatar more. I should be focusing on the Rustbolt Resistance more though. From the Ankoans I only really get increased rank on some of my essences but none of the most important ones as I already have Rank 3 on those. I should also run the Mechagon dungeon more often to get that essence up to Rank 3, but aside from it taking a significant amount of time the fact no rep is earned in it makes it feel pointless. You might be wondering why I need to get exalted with the Rustbolt Resistance. I need the two-star recipe for the new feasts, so I can then use the three-star recipe which has been sitting in my bags for weeks. Let’s not even get into how … [Read more...] about What World of Warcraft Classic Has That Retail Doesn’t
